Hammock Cove Resort & Spa Set to Open in Antigua
The all-inclusive, adults-only Hammock Cove Resort & Spa is set to open on Dec. 1 near Devil's Bridge National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northeastern Antigua.
Hammock Cove is part of the Elite Island Resorts group, which includes four resorts in Antigua in addition to Hammock Cove, and one each in Barbados, St. Lucia, Palm Island in the Grenadines and Panama.
The new resort offers 42 freestanding, one-bedroom villas with infinity-edge pools, wraparound verandahs and wine and liquor bars.
Other facilities include tiered swimming pools, two restaurants, several bars, a spa and a menu of tours and activities, both onsite and off.
“Hammock Cove is all about creating a relaxing and indulgent Caribbean island experience for discerning travelers,” said COO Larry Basham.
Rack rates start at $1,100 per night in a double room and increase to $1,400 during the holidays and winter peak season. Minimum-stay requirements are in effect during the Christmas period.
