New hotel projects in the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo. _ Amhsa Marina Hoteles y Casinos enterprise is adding two new resorts to its list -Gran Paradise Bávaro in Punta Cana and Sosúa Club in Puerto Plata- with 747 rooms combined for a company that already owns 3,477 rooms in the Dominican Republic.

Oscar Peña, Chairman of the above-mentioned firm, said the 504-room Gran Paradise is the company’s major hotel in Bávaro-Punta Cana.

On the other hand, Caribbean News has learned that Grupo Caribe is looking forward to developing the Cap Cana on Dominican soil, expected to be one of the most breathtaking attractions in the entire region.

According to Ricardo Hazouni, both chairman and promoter of Cap Cana Real Estate, the complex will be built with a view to set up a new standard in the Caribbean aimed at raising the Dominican Republic’s all-inclusive tourist scope all the way up to a top-notch destination with tourist flow all year round.
