The Serafina Beach Hotel Opens in Puerto Rico

The 96-room Serafina Beach Hotel opened in the Condado district of San Juan this week, thus becoming the first new property to open in Puerto Rico this year. The establishment is New York-based Serafina Restaurant Group's first hotel.

The oceanfront property features floor-to-ceiling windows, chic interiors, local artwork, an infinity pool with cabanas and an outdoor bar and three dining venues, including the signature aMare restaurant serving Mediterranean and seafood dishes fused with Puerto Rican flavors.

Serafina's "Experience the Island" concierge service offers guests access to nightly kayak excursions, private helicopter tours and guided visits through Old San Juan.

The hotel also has a voluntourism program where guests can connect with local communities to participate in rebuilding efforts.

To celebrate the opening, Serafina is offering a "Reveal" rate from $369 per room, per night -- a 30% discount on all room categories with a minimum two-night stay.

Guests also get a $60 food-and-beverage credit and one signature cocktail per guest. Guests must book by June 30 with travel by Oct. 31.
