Royal Caribbean Cancels Sailings from Florida

Royal Caribbean International canceled sailings on four ships departing from Florida this weekend, citing "ongoing Covid-related circumstances around the world."

Travel advisors and passengers were informed of the change on Jan 7. 

From Miami, the Symphony of the Seas canceled its cruise scheduled to depart Jan. 8, and the ship will be out of service for two more cruises, resuming sailing on Jan. 29.

The Jewel of the Seas canceled its Jan. 9 cruise and will not return to service until its Feb. 20 sailing.

The Tampa-based Serenade of the Seas canceled sailings from Jan. 8 to March 4 and will return to service April 26, after undergoing a drydock.

The Vision of the Seas will delay its restart from Jan. 8 to March 7, when it will launch from Port Everglades.
