Starting now, applications are invited for the ITB Buyers Circle. This year, the World’s Leading Travel Show is inviting leading buyers from around the world to apply for one of the 1,000 places available to members of the ITB Buyers Circle. From 9 to 12 March the who’s who of the global B2B travel industry will be meeting on the new virtual platform of ITB Berlin NOW.

Leading buyers can meet new contacts, decisively boost their business and benefit from quality content and daily news from the tourism industry. National and international decision-makers from the leisure, business travel and MICE sectors, as well as startups can take advantage of the free services on offer.

From past experience this hand-picked circle has major purchasing power. In recent years, five out of ten members had at least five million euros at their disposal, six out of ten were from companies with more than 100 employees, seven out of ten had previously visited ITB Berlin at least four times, and eight out of ten operated in Europe. Buyers from around the world have until 12 March 2021 to apply for the ITB Buyers Circle.

Thanks to its virtual format the ITB Berlin NOW platform will remain open until 31 May, so that members can continue to enjoy the benefits of this exclusive circle after the event has ended. Applications can be submitted to www.itbbuyerscircle.com. As in every year, candidates will be assessed on an individual basis.

For leading buyers there are many worthwhile services being offered by the ITB Buyers Circle: a wide range of networking opportunities, including appointments for one-on-one meetings or group video chats with business partners, contact suggestions based on common interests, virtual themed cafés, ITB Berlin NOW Convention lectures by leading international experts and the 24/7 availability of the platform. This significantly saves time and improves efficiency.

The platform’s interest-based matchmaking function ensures that exhibitors can meet buyers who are interested in their products. Furthermore, members of the ITB Buyers Circle can make individual appointments, set up audio/video calls and use the Communication Center to flexibly manage their availability. Starting mid- February, leading buyers will be able to familiarise themselves with all the features of ITB Berlin NOW.
