Cunard Line has decided to cancel five cruise sailings on the Queen Elizabeth ship after an unspecified number of boarding crew members tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The Carnival Corp. subsidiary has now rescheduled its return to service for Aug. 13, president Simon Palethorpe said in a statement obtained by USA Today. It was originally scheduled to start sailing on July 19.

Like much of the cruise industry, the line suspended all sailings in March 2020 as the pandemic descended. The cruise lines have been working with health authorities ever since to develop protocols that protect crew, passengers and communities along the itinerary.

About 800 crew members are currently on board, BBC News reported.
