The newly refreshed Queen Elizabeth has arrived at the Port of Seattle to begin her inaugural Alaska season, marking the ship’s first time homeporting in the city. From June through September, guests can enjoy seven to eleven-night voyages through Alaska’s majestic landscapes, a prelude to the ship’s upcoming maiden Caribbean season launching from Miami this October.

A plaque-and-key ceremony celebrated the ship’s arrival, officially launching Cunard’s new chapter in North American cruising. The iconic brand, known for its British elegance and White Star Service, will offer guests refined and relaxed experiences aboard Queen Elizabeth, combining historic grandeur with modern luxury.

Fresh from an elegant refurbishment, Queen Elizabeth now features enhanced Princess and Queens Grill suites, butler service, and new private dining experiences. Guests sailing this season will also enjoy the debut of Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux’s exclusive three-course Gala Evening menu, as well as new wellness offerings like The Pavilion Wellness Café and the Harper’s Bazaar® Wellness at Sea program.

Sailing round-trip from Seattle, the ship’s Alaskan itineraries include stops in Ketchikan, Skagway, Juneau, Victoria (BC), and Glacier Bay National Park, with views of Hubbard Glacier and the Inside Passage. Prices start at $1,109 per person for a balcony stateroom, based on double occupancy.

The onboard experience also includes enriching programming such as a speaker series by the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, and the “Locals Onboard” series, featuring 11 Alaskan speakers, including Tlingit performers, historians, and local artists. Cunard will also highlight the Pacific Northwest’s wine culture by featuring selections from regional wineries like Elsom Cellars and Canoe Ridge Estate.

Following her Alaska season, Queen Elizabeth will reposition to Miami for a historic winter in the Caribbean, the first full-season Caribbean deployment by a Cunard ship. The lineup includes Broadway and West End performers, with stars like Tony Award-winner Sutton Foster and exclusive performances of Come From Away, elevating Cunard’s signature luxury with world-class entertainment.
