Explora Journeys, the luxury ocean travel brand of MSC Group, has unveiled its highly anticipated Summer 2027 collection, showcasing a trio of exciting firsts: the brand’s inaugural voyages to Alaska, new destinations in the Mediterranean, and the launch of its fourth ship, EXPLORA IV, all under the season’s theme of “An Ocean of New.”
“With the intention of savouring every moment, our Summer 2027 journeys have been thoughtfully crafted to enable flexibility, extended stays, and deeper immersion at a gentler pace,” said Anna Nash, President of Explora Journeys. “We are thrilled to introduce Alaska for the very first time and to operate many of our 2027 voyages aboard two of our newest ultra-elegant ships, EXPLORA III and IV.”
The brand’s entry into Alaska marks a significant milestone in its global expansion. Starting in Summer 2027, EXPLORA III will offer immersive journeys through the region’s untouched wilderness, cultural richness, and vibrant local cuisine. Departing from Vancouver, guests will experience epic landscapes, thriving wildlife, and authentic frontier towns, all from the comfort of Explora Journeys’ signature refined atmosphere.
These sailings will navigate the Whale’s Highway, with chances to spot humpback whales, orcas, dolphins, and seals. From glacier-carved fjords and blue-domed cathedrals to Indigenous heritage sites and hands-on adventures like kayaking in Sitka Sound, each itinerary promises meaningful encounters with nature and culture.
