Royal Caribbean Pushes Operations Restart to August 1

(The Associated Press) - Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. has extended its suspension of most of its sailings through July 31, 2020, with the exception of sailings from China, which will be suspended through the end of June.

“After further consulting with our partners at CLIA and in conjunction with the CDC, our global suspension has been extended – all sailings departing on and before July 31st, 2020 will be cancelled. Our goal is to resume operations on August 1st, 2020,” says a statement from RCCL.

Royal Caribbean passengers can opt for a 125% Future Cruise Credit for travel up until April 30th, 2022, for bookings made by Dec. 31, 2021. Refunds are also available. Full terms and conditions for RCI can be found here.
