BIT 2023 Strengthens the Relaunch of Travel

There is a strong desire to travel again, not only in Italy but all over the world. This trend is confirmed by the attendance of exhibitors at BIT 2023, at the Allianz MiCo in Milan from Sunday 12 to Tuesday 14 February, which reinforces the relaunch recorded in 2022. The sector data also confirm it.
Italy Increasingly on a Human Scale
The above mentioned desire is could be satisfied by both professional operators (over the three days of the event) and travelers (just Sunday 12), at BIT 2023, travelling on a real virtual tour of the world, above all in the name of sustainable, conscious and slow experience, and starting right from Italy.
A World of Sustainable and Responsible Travel
Operators and travelers who want to cross borders, at BIT 2023 will find in the Leisure area a variety of international proposals for all distances and for all types of experiences.
On the other side of the world, among the emerging offerings in the Americas, there is the new entry Nicaragua with its rainforests that preserve 7% of the world's biodiversity, with neighboring Costa Rica, Ceará in Brazil with theirs emerald seas, forests and the majestic waterfalls, or Uruguay with trekking and horse riding in the pampas and photographic safaris hunting for whales in the ocean, alongside the classics of the slow holiday in Cono Sur such as Peru, Bolivia, Galapagos and Patagonia and destinations mixed between wild nature and metropolis full of vitality, such as Argentina.
Further north, in the Caribbean, the tropical paradises of Cuba are also reproposed in a responsible point of view.
In the Tourism Collection, the desire to relaunch the sector is even more tangible, with the arrival, or reconfirmation, of many big names among the major players in the supply chain. The presence of carriers is significant, among which the debut, if not the return with a new look, of ITA Airways (news flag company born after Alitalia fold) stands out, presenting the new connections, and the participation of international companies, including Air Europa, Air India, Eva Air or Fly Dubai.
Also present at BIT 2023 are Trenitalia, with its network of high-speed lines considered among the best in the world, and Trenord, engaged in a process of strong renewal of regional transport in Lombardy.
The portfolio of Tour Operators is also very rich which, as usual, combines the big names with the most interesting niche realities. Among the latter are proposals such as Australis or Ave del Sol from Latin America, Nordic Unique Travel, D Travel or Whale2Sea from Europe Top players include names such as Alidays, Alpitour, Costa Cruises, Eden Viaggi, Futura Vacanze, Gastaldi Holidays, Guiness Travel, Idee Per Viaggiare, Isola Azzurra Viaggi, Kel 12, Meridiano Viaggi, Naar, Nicolaus Tour, Ota Viaggi, Quality Group, Hotelturist-Th Resort, Turisanda, Veratour, Viaggi Del Mappamondo, as well as the important presence of trade associations ASTOI and FTO – Organized Tourism Federation.
