FITUR 2026 Reaches Out to Technology by Rolling Out the Knowledge Hub

FITUR, the International Tourism Trade Fair, is taking a bold step forward in tourism innovation with the launch of the Knowledge Hub, a new space that will become the beating heart of the event’s technological and knowledge-sharing activities. Scheduled to take place from January 21 to 25, 2026, at IFEMA MADRID, the 46th edition of FITUR will feature Hall 12 as the epicenter of this initiative, reaffirming the fair’s position as a global leader in the tourism sector.
The Knowledge Hub will serve as a dynamic platform hosting key thematic areas such as Travel Technology (which has grown by more than 35% this year), FITUR TechY, FITUR Know-How & Export, FITUR Sports, FITUR Talent, and the FITURNEXT Observatory. With over 100 companies from 20 countries confirmed, including major players like Amadeus, Travelgate, BeonX, Duetto, Ratehawk, and Mirai, Hall 12 promises to be a magnet for innovation and professional networking.
From Wednesday 21 to Friday 23 January, hundreds of sessions will gather international experts and tourism professionals to exchange insights and explore best practices shaping the future of global tourism. The space aims to democratize access to knowledge and technology, enabling destinations, companies, and professionals to stay at the forefront of transformation.
Strategically located in the southeast of the venue, Hall 12 will feature a new entrance and direct access linking it with Hall 4, optimizing visitor flow and creating an efficient, high-impact environment for business meetings and learning experiences.
FITUR 2026 will span nine halls (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12), presenting the full spectrum of the tourism value chain – from destinations and tour operators to tech companies and transportation services. The configuration underscores the fair’s commitment to driving tourism development with a positive impact, both economically and socially.
With this strategic enhancement, FITUR not only strengthens its role as a business platform but also as a driver of innovation and sustainability in tourism.
