HIP 2024

The eighth edition of HIP - Horeca Professional Expo began on Monday at IFEMA Madrid. From February 19 to 21, the event will be the largest meeting point for hoteliers seeking the competitiveness of their respective businesses or operational areas.

In this sense, more than 45,000 professionals from around the world have been given at the summit, along with 684 exhibiting firms and 757 experts, who will attend in order to jointly draw the roadmap for the new more efficient, experiential, digitized and sustainable hospitality.

Madrid, which has hosted HIP since its first edition, has grown in parallel to the event in terms of its leadership and positioning, so that it has managed to become the stage that currently hosts the hospitality revolution on a global scale.

The celebration of HIP will have an economic impact of 71 million euros for the city, while making it the world capital of Horeca innovation. This will put Madrid in the spotlight of international entrepreneurs, who are increasingly choosing Spain as a gateway for their commercial proposals in the European market.

Within the framework of HIP, Hospitality 4.0 Congress will be organized, the largest international forum on Horeca innovation, which this year will have 12 parallel auditoriums, which will host a total of 372 sessions in which the opportunities and challenges facing the Horeca sector will be put on the table.

The challenge that, par excellence, is currently marking the agendas of hoteliers is inflation and its subsequent impact on the strategic margins of the establishments. More than 50 leaders of restaurant groups such as Burger King, Popeyes, McDonald's, Goiko, Domino's Pizza, La Mafia sits at the table, or Grosso Napoletano will give the keys in HIP so that entrepreneurs can expand their businesses while maintaining profitability.
