Excelencias Awards

The Excelencias Awards were created in 2005 by the Excelencias Group with the goal of fostering excellence in different fields, all of them related to tourism, gastronomy, art and culture. Since then, they've become a benchmark in Ibero-America for all those involved in these sectors, who always carry out their activities with the goal of achieving excellence.

Every year, the Excelencias Group receives hundreds of excellent nominations from projects created with enthusiasm, effort and tenacity. The awards are handed out at the International Tourism Trade Fair (Fitur), where professionals from the world's top travel industry institutions gather.

This year the call for entries will be open from November 1 to December 5, 2023. We encourage you to prepare your projects and submit them. All you have to do is download the form through this link and send it to premiosexcelencias@excelencias.com.

About the Excelencias Awards

Historically, the TOURISM EXCELLENCIES AWARDS are given to players in the tourism industry and are complemented by awards in other fields. In recent years, the BLUE and GREEN categories have been added to the Tourism Excellence Awards to honor projects committed to the sustainability of aquatic and terrestrial environments.

We awarded the EXCELENCIAS GOURMET AWARDS, which honor the most outstanding projects in gastronomy, an activity deeply linked to tourism.

In addition, we give a Spirit of Excellence Award to those projects whose essence is to support and improve society, through training projects, inclusion in gastronomy and/or tourism. We also distinguish three Awards honoring beloved professionals who have left us: "Silvia Zorzanello Award", to tourism projects in Brazil, "Ramón Álvarez Award", to institutions or personalities committed to MICE tourism, and "Nicolás Muela Award", to projects focused on research and promotion of gastronomic culture in Ibero-America.

We also presented the Caribbean News Digital Award to outstanding personalities and companies for their achievements in tourism activities, either throughout their professional careers or for a specific project in the Ibero-American and Caribbean region.
