Design Hotels returns to Mexico City Art Week for a second year, bringing an expanded program of art, gastronomy, and hospitality in collaboration with Grupo Habita and Drift Hotels. Running through February 9, the initiative aligns with Zona Maco and Material Art Fair, two of Latin America’s most prestigious contemporary art events.

The program kicks off with an exclusive brunch at Museo Anahuacalli, featuring a curated menu by Chef Saúl Carranza of Hotel Escondido and cocktails by mixologist Alexis Soler of Drift Nashville. At Zona Maco, Design Hotels will debut Bistró Humano, a pop-up inspired by the relaxed atmosphere of Hotel Humano in Oaxaca, while at Material Art Fair, the brand will host a lounge designed by Ago Projects, with a menu from Chef Enid Vélez of Círculo Mexicano.

Sarah Doyle, Global Brand Leader of Design Hotels, emphasized the brand’s commitment to fostering creativity and collaboration: “These are moments to gain inspiration, facilitate connections among our owners, and ultimately, deliver a uniquely Design Hotels guest experience infused with the passion of its creators.”

Beyond Mexico City, Design Hotels will continue its engagement with global art and design events, participating in Milan Design Week, the Venice Biennale, the newly announced Biennale d'architecture et de paysage in Versailles, and NYC x Design. Grupo Habita will also contribute to the Mexican pavilion at the Venice Biennale.

With its growing presence at major cultural events, Design Hotels continues to blur the lines between hospitality, art, and design, offering immersive experiences that celebrate creativity and community.
