Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa Gets $32 Million Renovation

Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa has completed a $32 million renovation, modernizing its 650 guest rooms and suites, meeting spaces, and beachfront restaurant. The transformation enhances the resort’s design and amenities as it marks 40 years of operations on the destination’s largest stretch of private beach.
The redesign, led by CRA Design, incorporates serene oceanic tones and modern coastal décor, with guest rooms featuring woven fabrics, custom watercolor murals, and panoramic ocean views in the upgraded suites. Meeting and event spaces now showcase local nature-inspired elements, including Axminster woven carpet reflecting ocean and canal patterns and wallcoverings inspired by palms, cypress, and mangroves. The Grand Ballroom and Caribbean Ballroom were also refreshed with sculptural light fixtures evoking the movement of the sea.
The resort’s beachfront dining venue, Sea Level Restaurant and Ocean Bar, underwent a makeover with sandy shades, coral stone accents, and a marine-inspired design. Curated by Executive Chef Mikey Termini, the new menu highlights Caribbean and Latin American flavors, along with fresh-caught seafood. Guests can now enjoy indoor and outdoor dining just steps from the shore.
Enhancing recreational offerings, the resort introduced six pickleball courts, adding to its tropical lagoon pool, tennis courts, fitness center, and kids club activities. These additions complement the resort’s 16-acre oceanfront property, which features seven dining venues, a full-service spa, and more than 100,000 square feet of event space.
Conveniently located near Fort Lauderdale International Airport, the cruise port, and Las Olas Boulevard, the resort remains a premier destination for leisure and business travelers. "We look forward to continuing to provide exceptional experiences with an elevated look and enhanced amenities," said Donelle Zunker, General Manager.
