At the Cancún Travel Mart 2025, Iván Carballido, Associate Vice President of Communications for Hyatt Inclusive Collection, shared the company’s vision and ambitious expansion plans in the luxury all-inclusive hospitality market. The executive highlighted the Mexican Caribbean as a strategic region for Hyatt, describing it as one of the most dynamic and high-potential destinations within the company’s global portfolio.

Carballido underscored that the Cancún Travel Mart represents a valuable platform for Hyatt to strengthen alliances, connect with travel industry partners, and showcase its ongoing commitment to innovation in the all-inclusive segment. “This event allows us to deepen relationships and continue building a brand that redefines the all-inclusive experience through luxury, personalization, and authenticity,” he said.

Currently, the Hyatt Inclusive Collection operates 30 resorts and over 13,000 rooms across the Mexican Caribbean, consolidating the region as one of the company’s largest and most important markets worldwide. Carballido announced the upcoming opening of Secrets Mirabel Cancún Resort & Spa, a new addition that reinforces Hyatt’s position as a leader in high-end tourism.

The executive also pointed out that Hyatt’s global portfolio now exceeds 150 resorts and 55,000 rooms, spanning destinations in Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America, with several new projects underway that aim to raise the bar for luxury all-inclusive hospitality.

Carballido took the opportunity to thank Grupo Excelencias and Caribbean News Digital for their ongoing support in promoting Hyatt’s initiatives and strengthening its presence in key markets. He also expressed regret for the absence of Javier Águila, President of Hyatt Inclusive Collection, who could not attend the event but remains a strong advocate of the company’s growth strategy in the region.

In closing, Carballido reaffirmed Hyatt’s mission to deliver world-class experiences rooted in quality, sustainability, and cultural connection, emphasizing that the luxury all-inclusive model is not only thriving but also redefining the expectations of modern travelers around the world.
