Westgate Las Vegas Honors Elvis Presley with Sold-Out Tribute Shows

The spirit of Elvis Presley roared back to life at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino on July 31, as fans from around the globe gathered to celebrate the King's enduring legacy in the city where he made history. The two sold-out performances of 1969 LIVE! The King Returns, starring award-winning Elvis Tribute Artist Travis Powell, electrified the legendary International Theater, the very venue where Elvis launched his record-setting Vegas residency in 1969.
Beyond the show, the entire Westgate property was transformed into a full-scale immersive Elvis experience, complete with authentic memorabilia, themed food and cocktails, and special guest appearances. From sunup to sundown, every corner of the resort echoed with music, nostalgia, and admiration for one of the world’s most iconic performers.
“What a spectacular night,” said Cami Christensen, President and General Manager of Westgate Las Vegas. “Seeing fans from every generation dance and celebrate in the same room where Elvis' Las Vegas legacy began was truly moving. This is the only place in Vegas where you can relive that magic so authentically.”
Travis Powell, who headlined the event, shared his emotional connection to the venue: “To step on the very stage where Elvis performed is indescribable. The energy, the crowd, the history—it felt like The King came home again.”
