Sixt Opens New Branch Office in Argentina's Tucumán

Sixt, the renowned German car rental company, has announced the opening of a new branch in Tucumán, expanding its presence in northeast Argentina.
Operated independently under the Sixt brand, the new location aims to provide greater mobility solutions for travelers exploring this vibrant region. The launch marks another step in Sixt’s growth across the country.
The new branch is strategically located in downtown Tucumán, at 21 Juan Gregorio de las Heras Street, within the Hotel Bicentenario. It operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Additionally, Sixt offers a Meet & Greet service at Tucumán International Airport, available daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., catering to both tourists and business travelers arriving in the province.
Tucumán is known for its rich cultural and natural diversity, making it a perfect destination to explore by car. With short distances between attractions, visitors can easily discover the province’s five main tourist circuits: the Historic City, Calchaquí Valleys, Yungas, Choromoro Valley, and the South. These routes offer a mix of adventure, history, and scenic beauty, appealing to a wide range of travel preferences.
The region also holds significant archaeological importance, showcasing a profound connection to pre-Columbian cultures. One of the most remarkable sites is “Ciudacita”, located in the Calchaquí Valleys at an altitude of 4,400 meters. This ancient site is part of the Qapaq Ñan, the Inca Trail network, and has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its cultural and historical value.
With this new opening, Sixt Argentina strengthens its footprint in the region, supporting the local tourism industry and providing travelers with greater access to explore Tucumán’s natural wonders, historical landmarks, and cultural richness at their own pace.
