The 6th International Excelencias Gourmet Seminar About to Get Going

Boldface names have already arrived in Cuba to attend the 6th edition of the International Excelencias Gourmet Seminar, which is just hours away from the ribbon-cutting ceremony, slated for June 15 at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba.

Attendees will be sharing views on cuisine, gastronomy and culinary arts, the latest trends in the industry and their influence on the largest Caribbean island, home to mojitos, daiquiris and habano cigars.  

Some of the big-ticket names participating in this year’s edition of the seminar are Paco Torreblanca, Chef Susi Díaz, Chef Valero Alises, Italian sommelier Andrea Balzani, Julio Valles Rojo, and journalist and critic Pablo Marquez.

The event will come to a close Friday following three days of master lectures, cooking shows, tasting sessions and the chance to make the most of the world’s haute cuisine.
