American Airlines resumed its daily roundtrip flights from Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Florida to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (SDQ) on December 13, to be made with a Boeing 737-800, 148 seat aircraft.

“We continued seeing that the demand for service between Fort Lauderdale and Latin America and the Caribbean continues on the rise,” said Rafael Sanchez, American Airlines chief director in the Dominican Republic.

“These new flights and more spacious airplanes will help give our clients the service they are looking for. Our objective is to continue contributing with the development of the Dominican Republic as a great tourist destination in the Caribbean basin,” Sanchez said.
