Air Jamaica Unveils Deeply Discounted One-Way Fares

Air Jamaica’s New Year’s Sale features one-way sale fares from the U.S. to select Caribbean gateways. George deMercado, Air Jamaica’s senior director of sales, said, “We want to offer our customers our quality service and great fares at a time when they are seeking deals which offer better value for money.”

These fares are one-way and government taxes and fees are additional. Sample fares include Jamaica from Miami / Fort Lauderdale, $49; from Orlando $89; from Atlanta $109; from New York / Baltimore / Philadelphia, $119; from Chicago, $149; and from Los Angeles $179; from New York to Barbados / Grenada, $209; to Curacao from New York / Baltimore / Philadelphia / Atlanta, $199; from Chicago, $229; and from Los Angeles, $259.

Furthermore, travelers can receive a one-way fare of $119 when flying from New York to Jamaica. Both ticket purchase and travel must be completed by March 6. Conditions regarding advance booking, cancellations and other changes apply. Blackout dates for the New York-Jamaica fare include Feb. 13 to 15 and Feb. 20 to 22.
