American Express Reports Strong Growth in EMEA
American Express Business Travel has reported strong growth in EMEA with wins up 34 percent year-on-year across the region for first six months of 2007. This has been driven by a combination of continued investment in the region and a focus on strengthening the value lead proposition for clients.
David Herrick, senior vice president of American Express Business Travel, said the company has accelerated its growth this year and has bolstered its European team. Brian Mogler, a tenured American Express Business Travel team member, has been named vice president and general manager of customer service delivery EMEA.
Following the successful global launch of American Express Global Advisory Services last year, Joakim Johansson has been appointed vice president of advisory services, EMEA. In this new role, Johansson will oversee all advisory services activity in the region.
Michael Rouse has been appointed to the new position of global field strategy and effectiveness. He will manage this global role from Europe.
