Anguilla Tourist Board Hires Cheryl Andrews Marketing
The Anguilla Tourist Board hired Cheryl Andrews Marketing Communications to direct the Caribbean destination’s North American sales, marketing and public relations, said M. Foster Rogers, Anguilla’s permanent secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development, Investment, Commerce and Tourism, in a statement issued Feb. 4.
Based in Florida, Cheryl Andrews Marketing effectively replaces Turnstyle Marketing, a White Plains, N.Y.-based firm headed by Marie Walker, who also held the title of North American director of the Anguilla Tourist Board.
ATB’s association with Turnstyle Marketing will end on Feb. 28. Walker’s agency “represented Anguilla in the United States and Canada with distinction for the last nine years,” said Rogers. The White Plains office reportedly included an administrative staff and independent sales representatives.
Cheryl Andrews maintains a partnership with The Travel Marketing Network (TTMN), a marketing organization that has previously worked with the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, according to the statement, and maintains offices in Miami, Houston and Toronto. TTMN will open a New York office within the next month, the statement added.
