ASUR Reports 12.8 Percent Drop in August Traffic

Mexico’s Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, S.A.B. de C.V. has announced that total passenger traffic for August 2009 decreased by 12.8 percent when compared to August 2008.
Traffic to Cancun was down 13.2 percent, and traffic to Cozumel was down 9.5 percent. Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, S.A.B. de C.V. (ASUR) is a Mexican airport operator with concessions to operate, maintain and develop the airports of Cancun, Merida, Cozumel, Villahermosa, Oaxaca, Veracruz, Huatulco, Tapachula and Minatitlan in the southeast of Mexico.
