Brazil Hospitality Group Acquires Rio’s Hotel Intercontinental

Brazil Hospitality Group acquired Brascan Imobiliaria Hotelaria e Turismo S.A., the owner of the Hotel Intercontinental on Avenida Prefeito Mendes de Morais in Rio de Janeiro, with plans to renovate the property in 2011.

The 418-room property is located adjacent to the Gavea Golf Club and the Sao Conrado beach. All accommodations feature ocean views and the hotel also features two pools, a sauna, a fitness center, two tennis courts and two restaurants.
