Caribbean Airlines Adds Flights to Trinidad
Caribbean Airlines (the former BWIA) started yesterday flying on a daily basis from Fort Lauderdale to Trinidad. The airline recently launched Boeing 737 service from Fort Lauderdale to Trinidad four times a week.
“Obviously, the high cost of jet fuel and oil have impacted the market,” said Caribbean Airlines CEO Phillip Saunders. “The industry as a whole is facing challenging times, but we have a big cargo hub in Miami and excellent feedback from our passengers flying in and out of Miami.”
