Caribbean Airways Adds BA as Partner in Loyalty Program

Caribbean Airlines has partnered with British Airways in its Caribbean Miles frequent flyer program, enabling its members to earn and redeem miles on all British Airways’ flights.

“This is one of the most important milestones in the development of Caribbean Airlines’ frequent flyer program,” said Cecile Johnston, the carrier’s loyalty program coordinator.

More partners are expected to be added to the frequent flyer program in the coming months. Current partners include RBTT MasterCard, a Caribbean-based bank card; HiLo Foodstores, a food store chain based in Trinidad and Tobago, and Hertz.

Since the program began last January, more than 165 million Caribbean Miles have been redeemed, providing 11,000 rewards for travel to North America, the U.K. and within the Caribbean, according to Johnston.
