Caribbean Tourist Destinations to Benefit from the "One Ticket Eight Destinations" Initiative

Imagine being able to purchase one ticket and travel to eight destinations. Sounds great and it may soon be reality.

The initiative according to Grenada's Tourism Minister Hon Peter David will enable nationals and residents of eight Southern Caribbean tourist destinations -Colombia, Venezuela, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao and Trinidad and Tobago- to purchase one ticket ad travel to all eight destinations.

It will also enable them to choose between sailing from port to port aboard a cruise ship, fly to the next destination, or use a ferry. The objective, he noted, was to enhance trading of goods and services among the people of the destinations, and the provision of multiple choices to all travelers. The letter of intent was signed by the government of those countries during a recent summit in Curacao.
