Carnival Cruise Signs Contract to Stay in Jacksonville, Florida

Cruise giant Carnival has signed on to stay in the River City. Local TV station WTEV-47 has learned Carnival signed another one year contract with Jacksonville Port Authority for the Dames Point Terminal.

That contract includes an option to extend to 2014, a revenue guarantee of $2.31 million in passenger service charges for the first year, and $2.94 million for the option year.
