Chile´s LAN to Launch New Low-Cost Airline by the End of the Year

Chile´s LAN is working out the final details of what will be the new structure of a no-frills airline.

The launch of this new business model is in an implementation stage that should be done by the end of the year, airline officials explain.

With this incursion, the company is gearing up for a new “commercial war,” in reference to the September scheduled arrival of Brazilian GOL´s new low-cost company.
