Copa Holdings Trumpets Whopping Traffic Growth in March
Copa Holdings, S.A. and its Copa Airlines and AeroRepublica operating subsidiaries released this week preliminary passenger traffic statistics for March 2006.
For the month of March 2006, Copa Holdings´ system-wide passenger traffic increased 23.6 percent, while capacity increased 22.8 percent. System load factor for March 2006 reached 71.1 percent, an increase of 0.5 percent when compared to March 2005.
The carrier´s passenger traffic for March 2006 increased 32.9 percent, while capacity increased 22.4 percent. This resulted in a 6.2 percent increase in load factor when compared to March 2005.
