Cruise industry steering on all six in the Mexican Caribbean
Cozumel._ A total of 104 cruises are expected to dock in at Mexico’s Cozumel this April, with as many as 25 arrivals in the ongoing week in keeping with the Southeast Maritime Travel Agency’s schedule.
According to the agency’s yearly timetable, 104 cruise liners will sail this April into the different piers available on the island of Cozumel, penciled in as a 35% increase over the results clicked in April 2001 when a final tally of 77 recreational vessels anchored there.
The month’s cruise activity teed off on Monday, April 1 with the arrival of two liners: the Rhapsody of the Seas at pier International, and the Celebration at the Puerta Maya. The coming of other seven cruises, beginning with the Horizon and the Maasdam at the International, followed by the Costa Atlántica, Paradise and the Carnival Victory at Puerta Maya, and the Sundream and the Holiday at Punta Langosta, are expected with anticipation on Tuesday.
On Thursday, the Zenith is scheduled to dock in at the International, the Jubilee at Puerta Maya and the Norwegian Sun at Punta Langosta, while the arrivals of the Inspiration at Puerta Maya, the Grand Princess at Punta Langosta and the Voyager of the Seas at the International are expected for next Friday.
Over the weekend, the name of the game will be the arrival Saturday of the Celebration at Puerta Maya, and the Grandeur of the Seas at pier International on Sunday.
