Cruise West Offers Signature 2008 Alaska Cruises

Cruise West, the leading small-ship cruise line, will offer more departures, an upgraded ship, early booking savings, and the debut of the Spirit of Glacier Bay for its signature Alaska cruises in 2008.

A total of 160 Alaska departures will be offered by Cruise West in 2008, up from 146 in 2007. The Spirit of Yorktown will be upgraded this fall with a new cabin category that offers private balconies, a new Alaskan art collection, and a refurbished lounge. Spirit of Columbia

The Spirit of Glacier Bay, formerly known as the Spirit of Nantucket , will make its Alaska debut in 2008 sailing Glacier Bay Highlights cruises, and increasing the number of Cruise West ships sailing in Alaska to eight.

Land tours of the Denali National Park and Preserve, home of towering Mt. McKinley, North America’s tallest peak, can be added to any Cruise West Alaska itinerary, allowing guests to experience Alaska’s pristine interior.
