Cruise West, the leading small-ship cruise line, is offering guests the chance to stave off winter chills with distinctive itineraries to Mexico’s Sea of Cortes.

Guests this winter will be the first to sail on the upgraded, 138-guest Spirit of Yorktown, which will include four new balcony category cabins, renovations to corridors, lobby areas and the lounge, and a new collection of artwork.

As with all Cruise West itineraries, cruises to the Sea of Cortes focus on providing up-close and personal experiences with the environment and cultures of the destination.

All Sea of Cortes cruises are eight days, round trip from Cabo San Lucas and include the picturesque seaside village and mission town Loreto and Isla Espiritu Santo, home to several plant and animal species only found on this island.

Active guests will enjoy kayaking, snorkeling and nature walks at the serene islands Los Islotes & Isla Partida. Guests may also add-on a spectacular four-night Copper Canyon post-cruise land tour.
