Crystal Unveils 800 Boutique Shore Excursions in Europe

Crystal Cruises is rolling out nearly 800 Europe shore excursions, dozens of which are new. From soaring above Stockholm in a hot air balloon to scuba diving off the coast of Turkey, Crystal Adventures augment Crystal’s 32 itineraries exploring the Mediterranean, Baltic and Black seas, North Cape, Canary Islands, Middle East and British Isles.

New this year are a drive on the cornices of the French Riviera in a Maserati, Lamborghini or Ferrari from Cannes; viewing the Military Tattoo from a private box while sampling Scotch whiskeys from Edinburgh; a palace cooking lesson with an Italian countess in Venice; a high-speed sailing adventure in a professional ocean racer from Berlin; and a bicycle and 4-by-4 exploration of the lava fields and Mt. Etna from Taormina.

From April through November, the Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity offer seven- to 15-day itineraries from Athens, Greece; Copenhagen, Denmark; Istanbul, Turkey; London, England; Monte Carlo, Monaco; Rome, Italy; Stockholm, Sweden; Barcelona, Spain; Lisbon, Portugal; and Venice, Italy.

Two-for-one double occupancy fares in Europe begin at $3,680 per person. Also included are up to $1,000 per person shipboard credits and complimentary air transportation from more than 20 North American gateways -- business class for Penthouse guests.
