Delta, Northwest Talks Heat Up Again

Stalled merger-related talks between the pilot unions at Northwest and Delta may have been jump-started, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The pilots, which reportedly have had difficulty reaching an agreement on how to combine seniority lists if Delta and Northwest merge, have made a step toward resuming talks to resolve that issue, according to a person close to the negotiations, reported the Atlanta newspaper.

“There is common ground here,” said the person, who asked not to be identified, said the Journal-Constitution.
