Delta Reports 2.2 Percent Drop in April Traffic

Delta Air Lines reported system traffic in April 2010 decreased 2.2 percent compared to April 2009 on a 4.1 percent decrease in capacity. Load factor increased 1.6 points to 83.0 percent. Domestic traffic increased 0.3 percent year over year on a 1 percent decrease in capacity.

Domestic load factor increased 1.1 points to 84.2 percent. International traffic decreased 6.3 percent year over year on an 8.9 percent decrease in capacity, and load factor increased 2.2 points to 80.8 percent.
