Discovery to Continue Sailing in 2010 with Changes

Discovery Cruise Line announced that it will continue sailing in 2010 with a new structure and other new developments to be announced in January. “This announcement is being made in response to inquiries about whether Discovery will continue its itinerary next year,” said Hanns J. Hahn, the general manager of Discovery.

“Discovery has been sailing to Grand Bahama Island since 1987 and will continue to do so in 2010, although there will be some major and exciting changes announced next month.”

Discovery sails every day except Wednesdays from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale to Grand Bahama Island. Discovery offers same day roundtrip cruises as well as cruise-and-stay vacation packages, including all-inclusive and island-inclusive packages. Hotels include Our Lucaya Reef Village, Flamingo Bay at Taino Beach, Wyndham Viva Fortuna Resort, Pelican Bay at Lucaya and the Radisson Our Lucaya Resort.
