Fifth Excelencias Gourmet International Gastronomic Seminar in Havana

The Excelencias Group is going to gather in Havana, June 22-24, the finest chefs, bartenders, maîtres, sommeliers and gastronomic workers from Cuba and other nations during the 5th Excelencias International Gastronomic Seminar Havana 2015, organized to debate on cuisine, cocktails and the modern sommelier realm, gastronomic communication and new scenarios of Cuban restaurants.
The 5th Excelencias International Gastronomic Seminar Havana 2015 will be attended by suppliers and distributors of food and beverages, managers, chefs, bartenders and maîtres from restaurants of hotel and extra-hotels groups; workers from private restaurants, as well as entrepreneurs and executives from organizations and entities related to the travel industry and services.
The event is scheduled to include master lectures, spaces to share experiences among restaurant owners, as well as tasting sessions and pairings of different products, and the final stage of Best Excelencias Gourmet 2015 Sommelier Contest, 15x15 Contest and Gin Tonic Contest, open to all restaurants from the Caribbean and Cuba.
The Excelencias Group has called both events along with the Ministry of Tourism’s Tourism Education System (FORMATUR is the Spanish acronym), Republic of Cuba’s Federation of Culinary Associations, Cuba’s Bartenders Association and Cuba’s Sommeliers Club.
The Gastronomic Seminars organized by the Excelencias Group are endorsed by the Iberian-American Gastronomy Academy, in which the Excelencias Group’s CEO, Mr. Jose Carlos de Santiago, is the Ambassador to Latin America and the Caribbean.
