Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Launches 2012 Grand Voyages

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has announced two longer cruises for 2012. Balmoral will operate an 89-night voyage around South America, departing Jan. 5, 2012, while Black Watch will undertake a 106-night World Cruise departing from Southampton on Jan. 11, 2012.
Balmoral’s cruise, also from Southampton, travels via the Canary Islands and Caribbean and visits Key West, New Orleans, Galveston and Cozumel before transiting the Panama Canal and traveling around the continent of South America.
The cruise can also be booked in four shorter sectors: Southampton to Montego Bay, Jamaica; Montego Bay to Valparaiso, Chile; Valparaiso to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Rio to Southampton. Prices for the full cruise start at $13,198 per person.
The Black Watch World Cruise travels in an easterly direction, visiting Egypt and the Suez Canal, India, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Borneo, Australia, the South Pacific South America and the Caribbean. Prices start at $15,673 per person.
The world cruise can also be booked in four shorter sectors: Southampton to Singapore; Singapore to Sydney; Sydney to Callao, Peru; and Callao to Southampton. The 2012 Grand Voyages went on sale May 18 for Oceans Members while general sales started May 19.
