Iberia can now issue paperless e-tickets for travel combining its flights with those of Royal Air Jordanian, Copa Air, Northwest Airlines, Taca International Airlines and Lacsa. These companies join the list of carriers allowing e-tickets for interline flights with Iberia.

The list already includes Air France, Mexicana de Aviacion, Continental Airlines, SN Brussels and all Oneworld alliance members (American Airlines, Aer Lingus, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, LAN and Qantas) The new additions extend the advantages of e-tickets to more destinations and passengers.

The Spanish airline is rapidly adopting the electronic format for its tickets to all destinations reached alone or in combination with other carriers.

E-tickets can be used to all Iberia destinations in Spain and 60 of the Spanish airline’s international destinations –all but Naples and Pisa, which are served by Iberia Regional/Air Nostrum.

E-tickets exist only as registers in a data base, so they can’t be lost or stolen. Customers can obtain e-tickets when booking their flights on line or by telephone, and are given a code number identifying their ticket. Tickets can be altered with another telephone or internet call at any time of day or night.
