IATA will reduce its prices on agent ID cards in Canada by 16 percent to 25 percent, depending on the card, effective March 1.

The new charges will be $30 for a one-year card and $50 for a two-year card for IATA agents, $50 and $70, respectively, for those holding TIDS, the travel industry designator service number for non-air travel sellers.

After losing its IATA contract, ACTA launched its own card, priced at $60 for ACTA members and $90 for non-members, without regard to IATA or TIDS designators. The group also offered discounts to holders of CLIA members and Canada’s CITC designation.
