Jamaica Updates Agent Rewards Program

The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) unveiled its new One Love Rewards program for agents, which serves as a training platform for the destination as well as offering rewards such as merchandise and accommodations.

Graduates of the program can shop for a range of items using points earned based on hotel rooms booked.

The One Love Rewards store includes merchandise such as photo frames, iPad cases and duffel bags from resorts and stores.

“With our new travel agent specialist store, the JTB is able to recognize motivated agents and reward them for their commitment to selling Jamaica vacations to their clients,” said Donnie Dawson, deputy director of tourism sales.

The JTB partnered with The Spa Retreat in Negril to offer a spa reward of a five-night stay (airfare not included) to the first travel specialist who books three trips of five or more nights.

The JTB continues to offer a range of benefits to graduates, including a monthly $300 award to the top-booking agent with 10 or more bookings, a preferred-agent listing on VisitJamaica.com and VIP fam tours.

More than 7,520 agents have graduated from Jamaica’s rewards program since its inception in February 2012.
