JetBlue’s Winter Caribbean Schedule Grows 46 Percent
JetBlue’s winter schedule to the Caribbean calls for as many as 220 weekly roundtrip flights to 11 tropical destinations, which represents a 46 percent growth in seats over last winter’s schedule, according to Jim Fuoco, manager of route planning.
In addition to increasing frequencies on existing routes, the carrier will kick off daily nonstop service from New York (Kennedy) to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, on Jan. 10 and to St. Maarten on January 17.
The carrier’s first international service from Orlando takes off March 6 to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. With 10 flights a day to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, JetBlue will offer the most nonstop service to the Caribbean of any airline at Orlando.
