JetBlue Launches Service to Santo Domingo
JetBlue Airways is announcing a major expansion of spring services between Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport,
The airline is also launching a new nonstop service between Boston and Bermuda and between Orlando and Ponce, Puerto Rico. Bermuda flights begin May 1 while Santo Domingo and Ponce flights begin May 24.
Flights will be operated with 150-seat Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring industry-leading legroom and a complimentary selection of first-run movies and bonus features from FOX. Santo Domingo will be JetBlue’s 53rd destination, and its ninth city in the Caribbean/Atlantic region.
To celebrate its new service to Las Americas International Airport, JetBlue is offering introductory one-way fares between New York and Santo Domingo starting at $109 each way. The airline previously served Santo Domingo from 2004 to 2005.
