St. Maarten’s Commissioner of Tourism Roy Marlin confirmed Tuesday that JetBlue Airways will be commencing air service on February 14 to St. Maarten via Boston’s Logan International Airport.

The new nonstop service complements JetBlue’s existing daily flights to St Maarten via New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, with twice-daily service on Saturdays.

The flights will be aboard JetBlue’s 150-seat Airbus A320, which offers ample legroom, leather seats, seat-back televisions and free snacks and drinks. Flights will depart Boston at 7:50 a.m. and arrive in St. Maarten at 1:04 p.m. Return flights from St. Maarten will leave at 2 p.m. and arrive in Boston at 5:57 p.m.
