JetBlue Opens More Offices in Dominican Republic

Based on the success of JetBlue Airways’ two existing City Ticket Offices in the Dominican Republic, the airline is opening of two new cash ticket sales locations on the island –one in Santo Domingo Oriental at the Mega Centro shopping center and the other in San Francisco de Macoris, 55 kilometers northeast of Santiago, at Multicentro La Sirena shopping center.

This summer, JetBlue will offer five nonstop destinations from Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo, including Boston, Mass. (effective June 19); Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (begins June 18); New York (JFK Airport); Orlando, Fla.; and San Juan, Puerto Rico. JetBlue also offers daily flights from Puerto Plata and Santiago to New York.

Customers traveling from Santiago or Santo Domingo can also book convenient connecting service to Washington, D.C. (IAD) as well as five California destinations including Burbank, Long Beach, Los Angeles (LAX effective June 17), Oakland and San Francisco. Puerto Plata customers can also easily connect to Boston via JFK.
