LAN to Launch Low-Cost Model Worldwide
The low-cost strategy implemented by LAN Airlines at the beginning of the second half of the year has really paid off, according to the company’s front office.
After having launched a domestic route, the airline has now three routes and expects to close next year with a total domestic coverage using this modality, maximizing the use of its fleet with night flights.
This strategy will also be implemented in Peru and Argentina in order to use Lima and Buenos Aires as platforms for short distance flights in domestic markets and in neighboring countries, as a no-frills regional system.
