LIAT and Caribbean Star took another major step in their ongoing merger with the publication of the combined flight schedule of both carriers, which took effect February 1. The new schedule maintains service to the 22 gateways previously served by both carriers; all flights will use LIAT’s LI two-letter designator code.

The new schedule “eliminates flight duplication and allocates our combined aircraft resources and equipment more productively,” according to Mark Darby, CEO of LIAT.

All Caribbean Star and LIAT passengers are now checking in at LIAT counters in 20 of the 22 destinations served by both airlines. The two exceptions are Curacao and Tobago where check-in is taking place at Caribbean Star counters.
