Lufthansa to Begin Nonstop Miami-Düsseldorf Service in October
Lufthansa is adding a three-cabin Airbus A340-300 service from Miami to Düsseldorf beginning on October 26.
The new seasonal route will offer travelers convenient 35-minute connections to more than 50 popular European destinations through Düsseldorf International Airport, which will also feature Lufthansa’s newly opened 8,000+ square foot Senator Lounge and nearly 12,000 square foot Business Lounge.
Lufthansa Chairman and CEO Wolfgang Mayrhuber will lead a delegation of media, corporations and partners from Düsseldorf to Miami, arriving with inaugural flight LH 466 at 5:30 pm local time on October 26. Flight LH 467 to Düsseldorf will depart Miami at 7:20 pm and arrive in Düsseldorf at 9:15 am local time the next day.
The A340-300 aircraft will feature eight First Class seats, 48 lie-flat Business Class seats and 165 Economy Class seats on top of the current 330 seats offered daily between Miami and Frankfurt, for a new total of 551 daily seats.
Lufthansa is offering a special introductory roundtrip fare of $550 (including fuel surcharges, excluding taxes and fees). The fare is available for departures between October 26 and December 11, with all travel completed between November 2 and January 10.
